At East Coast Bays, youth development is about more than improving hockey skills. It’s about building confidence, understanding the game, enjoying the experience and helping every player find their place within the club.

Every young player has a different hockey journey.
Some play for the enjoyment of the game. Others want to improve their skills, compete at a higher level or see how far their hockey can take them.
At ECB, we want to support all of those journeys. Our youth development approach is designed to help players build strong hockey foundations, develop confidence and understanding, enjoy their hockey and stay connected to the club as they progress.
The goal is simple: better hockey players, stronger young people, and future senior players and leaders for ECB.

Throughout the year, ECB provides opportunities for young players to develop, compete and experience different levels of hockey — from learning 11-a-side hockey through to higher-level competition and performance opportunities.
SUMMER YOUTH
LEARN THE GAME.
EXPERIENCE 11-A-SIDE.
For many young players, Summer Youth is their first experience of full-size 11-a-side hockey. It provides an opportunity to develop their understanding of the game, build confidence and enjoy playing as part of a team.

For players who want to push their hockey further, ECB provides opportunities to develop at a higher level and progress towards senior, Premier and representative hockey.
VOLCÁNS
GO BEYOND THE ORDINARY.
Selected ECB players have opportunities to compete beyond the normal Harbour hockey environment through tournaments and competitions locally, nationally and internationally.
